Presidents Report:
The meeting commenced with words of thanks from the president to everyone involved in the Tamborine Mountain Wedding Expo, held 5 July 2009, which was a great success and planned to be an annual event.
Minutes of the previous general meeting 15 th June 2009

That the minutes be adopted without amendment.

Treasurers Report:
It was moved that the treasurer’s report be adopted -

General Business:
- Suellen Bayly spoke about the minutes being posted on the website. These could be accessed at http://tamborinemountainweddings.net/minutes.htm
- Queensland Brides magazine would like us to advertise with them, however the four issues per year was considered possibly too expensive for the Group

There being no further business the general meeting closed at 7:45pm

Treasurers Report:
Motion that the Annual Treasurer’s report including the AuditedStatement as presented be adopted without amendment.

Appointment of Auditor
Motion to appoint Stephanie Baker as the Group’s auditor for the next financial year.
Moved: Lynda Brownen (Wybrow Creations)
Seconded Suellen Bayly (Bayly Allure)
Discussed: The cost of $50 to be charged to businesses to cover any extra listings with the Gallery. This covers additional inclusions in the brochure and also on the website.
Members were reminded that every member should be linked to the main website
Election of members to the management committee
Tom Baker listed the positions available for the Committee. Positions being declared vacant, nominations were then received in accordance with the Groups Constitution, as follows:
President: Tom Baker (nominated: Marcia King, seconded: Suellen Bayly). Elected
Vice President: Marcia King (nominated: Janice). Elected
Treasurer: Lynda Brownen (nominated: Di Jacobs, seconded Heather De Fossard). Elected
General Secretary: Sheree & Doug Griffith (nominated Suellen seconded Di Jacobs). Elected
Advertising & Media: Suellen Bayly. Elected
Wedding Gallery Supv. Di Jacobs. Elected
Tamborine Wedding Expo 2010 sub-committee:
A committee was appointed to oversee the Tamborine Mountain Wedding Expo 2010.
